Come celebrate nature's bounty and all-ages fun at Lynden's Pumpkin Festival!
Fairway Center on Front Street in Lynden will be hosting a number of events for the whole family to enjoy. Cascade Commodities Giant Hay Maze will be open Thursday the 4th from 2pm-7pm, Friday the 5th from 10 am -7pm, & Saturday the 6th from 10am-7pm. This event is FREE.
A children's hay hunt, courtesy of Bogaard Hay, for free candy & prizes will be held next to the hay maze on Saturday, October 6th, 11-1 or while supplies last.
Kids can decorate a pumpkin at Fairway Center from 11-2 or while supplies last. This event is FREE.
Check out the unique scarecrow displays that area businesses have created On Friday the 5th & "Chalk the Walk" sidewalk art designs by local 3rd grade student's downtown and at Fairway Center. The 3rd graders will be doing their art on Wednesday the 3rd and Thursday the 4th, but will be on display for a few weeks depending on weather.
The Lynden Lions Club will present the 28th annual International Model Railroad & Circus Builders Show on Saturday, October 6 (9:00AM- 5:00PM) & Sunday, October 7 (10:00AM- 4:00PM) at the Jansen Ag Building at the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for children 6-12 years old, & free for children 6 & under (family rates are only $20). This is one of the largest shows on the west coast. There are running displays in all gauges of model trains and circus displays. Proceeds from this event will benefit Lions community projects.

In addition to the above events on Saturday, Stoney Ridge Farm (2092 Van Dyk Road), & Bellewood Acres (231 Ten Mile Road) will also be featuring family-friendly harvest activities & tours all weekend.
