Fall is in the air which means it's time to head out to Ferndale and help us celebrate the season!
Join us at the Centennial River walk park on October 13 for the Ferndale Harvest Festival, which celebrates the closing day of the Ferndale Public Market and the kick off to fall. There are many free family events and fun things for the kids to do. Enter into one of the many contests: Ugly Truck, Carved Pumpkin, Dog Costume, Harvest Baking Contest or the Biggest Pumpkin for a chance to win a prize. Kids Activities include: Pumpkin painting, chalk drawing on the river walk, coloring, and other fun games. The Festival will have: Market vendors, food, face painting, balloon animals & Music going on all day. Please bring your family, friendly dogs, and something to enter into the contest!
Do you have a great photo of Ferndale? Enter it in the 2013 Photo contest for a chance to be chosen as one of 12 photos in the 2013 Spirit of Ferndale Calendar. Entry forms must accompany each photo. Forms can be found online or in the Chamber office. Deadline is October 13, contact the Chamber with questions.
Back by popular demand, the Pumpkin People will start popping up at local businesses throughout Ferndale from October 24-31. Go online to the Chamber Website and vote for your favorite one.
Downtown Trick or Treat will take place on Halloween, Wednesday, 31 from 3-6pm. Bring your little ghosts and goblins to down town Ferndale and safely trick or treat from business to business. This is always a popular event with a great support from the local businesses who participate.
