Whatcom County offers plenty of Easter egg hunts and related events for the family. Here is a roundup of those we've heard about so far. All events are in Bellingham unless otherwise listed.
FRIDAY, MARCH 22
TREAT & A PICTURE WITH THE B.W.I. BUNNIES
Bob Wallin Insurance, 1844 Iron St.
12 to 3 p.m. Free.

TUESDAY, MARCH 26
FAIRHAVEN TREASURE HUNT
Fairhaven Toy Garden, 1147 11th St.
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free.
Bring your best sleuthing skills to solve riddles to get your eggs "colored." The hunt begins at Fairhaven Toy Garden and then progresses to businesses all over Fairhaven. Complete the hunt, receive a small treasure and be entered to win an Easter basket full of items donated by Fairhaven merchants. Parent supervision required at all times. Questions? SATURDAY, MARCH 30
EASTER EGG HUNT IN THE ORCHARD
BelleWood Acres, 6140 Guide Meridian, south of Lynden.
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. $7 per child (no charge for parents).
Ride the Apple Bin Train to the hunting grounds of the inaugural Easter egg hunt at Bellewood Acres. Train leaves at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. Hunting is for ages 1 to 10, with a separate area for those 4 and under. Registration opens one hour prior to hunt. Each child gets a goodie bag regardless of number of eggs collected. Easter Bunny on hand for photos and hunting help.
MT. BAKER GOLDEN EGG HUNT
Mt. Baker Ski Area.
9 a.m. for all ages hunt; staggered times after that for kids' hunts. Free for kids.
More than 4,000 eggs will be hidden in the 14th annual hunt on the slopes of the Mt. Baker Ski Area. Hunts are divided by age group, from ages 2 and under all the way to adult. The kid hunt eggs contain sugar-free jelly beans and some age groups have coins in theirs. All kids participating get a prize and special egg hunt shirt. The all-ages hunt has multiple prizes, with the grand prize being a Mt. Baker Ski Area season pass for the 2013-14 season. All-ages hunt requires a valid lift ticket or season chairlift pass. 2ND ANNUAL KID'S EASTER FAIR
St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.
10 a.m. to noon. $5 suggested donation per child.
Second annual Easter fair featuring indoor egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, games, prizes, drawings, coloring contest, treats and more. Event put on by PeaceHealth and Friends Relay for Life team as a fundraiser for American Cancer Society.
5TH ANNUAL LETTERED STREETS HUNT
Fouts Park, Ellsworth and H streets.
10 a.m. Free.
Lettered Streets Covenant Church is putting on their 5th Annual Easter Egg hunt in Fout's Park! Join us for the egg hunt, crafts, facepainting, Door prizes, and professional photos by Evantide Photography.
SILVERADO LIVING HUNT
Silverado Senior Living, 848 W. Orchard Drive.
10 a.m. Free.
There will be cupcakes by Cupcakes Like it Sweet, balloon animals by Sir Prize, and Brown Studios Photography will be onsite to provide a free family photo. The hunt is for children 8 and younger, but all family members are invited to come celebrate.
FERNDALE EGG HUNT
Pioneer Park, 2004 Cherry St., Ferndale.
10 a.m. Free.
Industrial Credit Union and the Ferndale Boys & Girls Club will co-host their annual Great Community Easter Egg Hunt at Pioneer Field.
Kids ages 1 to 12 are invited to hunt for more than 5,000 candy-filled eggs. People are asked to arrive a few minutes early to line up by age group.
