WTA hosts art contests for kids at Whatcom libraries

Whatcom Transportation Authority will host a series of Kids Art contests in July to find art to decorate buses.

The contests will be held at three local libraries in July. Two kids from each location will have their works reproduced on the sides of a WTA bus.

Whatcom County children 10 and younger are eligible. All materials will be provided. Submissions must be created at the event.

The contests will take place at these locations:

- Bellingham Public Library, Wednesday, July 10, from noon to 2 p.m.

- Lynden Public Library, Thursday, July 25, from 11:30 am to 1:30 p.m.

- Ferndale Public Library, Tuesday, July 30 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
